Engagements

Here are a few of our engagements that my sister Karlee did up on our mountain property .
The pictures turned out great, it was a bit of a rough day getting everyone in outfits and where we needed to be, but totally worth it with these photos as the outcome!

Wedding Prep

I am a bit late on sharing my wedding planning and wedding story. However, since Seth and I are the only ones who look at my blog I assume its no big deal :) This post is about all the pre wedding stuff. Which as fun as it was, I do not want to plan my own wedding ever again! Once was enough, luckily I found my one true love so I wont need to do it again.

Here are some of the serious, and not so serious dress options I tried on while searching for the perfect one! This is the one I thought was the one, until I tried on the real ONE! and priced roughly $2,000 I didnt give up my search after this one....

This is not so serious..... but hey you gotta try them all.

This was my second, almost the one dress.... however, with it being one of the most expensive dresses in the store, and needing some alterations done, I kept up my search.

Wedding Registry. What. a. nightmare. Who freakin knew all the crap you had to register for! Seths favorite was all the camping stuff at walmart. Gotta watch him close, I lost him for .2 seconds and we ended up with disco balls and bb guns on our registry :)

We got 3 of the same crock pots that we didnt even register for :) I got black listed at walmart for returning to many things with out a receipt :) oopise

Wedding hair trial run.....

Seth thankfully didnt cut a mullet....

The stuffing announcements party. Some how we con'd the Julian girls to come down and help. Turned out to be a fun afternoon and getting them all stuffed in one day!

My favorite part was the three apps I downloaded to countdown to my wedding day! I would screen shot a photo daily to send to Seth. I think he secretly was glad when the wedding was over so he didn't have to receive my countdown messages :)

Larson Bridal shower. Leslie, Jan, and KJ did a great job! Thanks for the wonderful party!!!

The Gardner Shower. These people are the best family I could have asked for! Still can get over how much fun it was! Thank you Gardners!

I have so many people that love me, that I got to have THREE bridal showers! Can you believe it! Pat Western threw me the MOST classiest western shower you could imagine! It was perfect!

Seths one wedding to do was the popcorn bar.... and boy did he stress me out by waiting till the very last second. I learned three things about my husband after this project. #1. He will come through. #2. He is as handy as they come! (bring on more projects!) #3. Give him a deadline earlier than you want it :)

Bachelor Party! This is not your typical party... when you turn up short on girl friends, you brother and fiance will have to do! Seth and I picked Josh up from Las Vegas when he flew in for the wedding. We made a party out of it, cause every girl needs a party! I even walked away ahead when I cashed out! woot woot!

The Proposal!!

He did it!!! After two years of on and off dating he actually asked me to be his wife!!! I still cannot believe it! (2 weeks later) Do not ask me how I got him, sometimes I think its too good to be true! After you read this story you will think the same thing, wow what a guy!

We were on our way home from moving me home from Logan, we were driving all day Saturday and were suppose to unload my stuff in STG on Sunday. So.... Sunday morning we are eating breakfast and he answers a call from Brady asking if we could run up the mountain to check gates. Brady said his dad wasn't sure he closed all of them.  Seth told him we could go we had some time to kill before we headed to STG. We unhooked the trailer and up the mountain for a little sunday drive we went. We got to the gate and it was locked up tight. Seth asked me if I wanted to go in and look at the cabin or the place Brady and Hayley got married. He must of known I would say yes so in we went! We went up to the wedding site and walked around a little bit. Seth said "his spot" was up a little further if I wanted to go to it. I replied "no, I didn't need to go, its your spot I don't want to ruin it!" He insisted we walk up there, that he wanted to share it with me. We started walking and I should have known something was up with how fast he was walking! I thought we were on a sunday stroll not a race! (I was totally clueless the entire time!) There was a tree that we had to duck under and he let me go first and I walked right into this bench!!!!
I read it like three times and a  MILLION  things went through my mind... like OH MY GOODNESS IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING, what if its not for me! It has to be for me!  OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS HAPPENING!!!! I turned around to find Seth down on one knee to ask me to marry him! I had my hand over my mouth and I whisper "is this real life?"haha ( I am a dumb sometimes)  I said YES! Hugged him and kissed him and turned to my bench and just couldn't take it all in. He finally asked if I wanted to wear the ring :)

Of course I wanted to wear the ring! Its perfect! He is perfect! This is REAL LIFE and I am loving it!

I couldn't be any luckier than I am! I got the most thoughtful fiancée ever! He wood burned that bench that probably took him FOREVER and I get to keep it FOREVER! It was all so perfect I am totally okay waiting as long as I did :) (now) hehe He cant change his mind now, he was the one who asked me :) Ready or not Seth, I am going to Mrs. Seth Julian! Have I mentioned I am the LUCKIEST girl alive?!

THE MOVE SOUTH

June 1st was my last day working at the Hyde Park IFA. It was such a bitter sweet day I didn't know which emotion to  have. I was so sad to be leaving that store and friends I have made over the past year and half but I was SO ready to be home and closer to my babe! Nate, brought home made cinnamon rolls made by grandma and they were SO delicious! The boss man bought everyone pizza for lunch because "apparently" it was the best may ever :) I think he did it just for me because it was my last day! :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE these girls. I don't know how I would have ever made it up there in Logan so far away from home and Seth if I didnt have these girls. They are truly the best friends and roommates any one could ask for! This is at olive garden (of course) for a going away dinner!

Laura made me a cake! She is the absolute best friend a girl could have. She worked all day then rushed home to make a cake clean house and invite people over to party! She is the best host and had everything planned and it was all PERFECT!

Seth came up to help me get all my "stuff" and move it home! He took me to work saturday morning and by noon he had EVERYTHING loaded including my car on the flatbed! I couldn't believe it. But, yet I could believe it, he is superman and thats one of the reasons I keep him around :) This is right before we loaded up to start our drive south!

Okay, I hope you all can understand the amazingness of this gift right here. You know how I mentioned Laura did all the above, well she did this too! She is a super hero! BEST. GIVE. EVER. She printed off the directions off google maps to get me home to STG from Logan, turns out its 384 miles. So naturally they (roommates, seth, friends) wrote 384 reasons why they LOVE me!!! Who knew there was even 12 let alone 384! I couldn't get over how thoughtful this was! I totally read it like three times on my way home, giggling and laughing out loud at some of the reasons why they loved me! I have some great friends I left up there in Cache Valley!

However sad I was to leave Logan, I am much happier to be home close to my family and man! It was a good move for me, however, I miss my Logan friends A LOT!!!!!!! ( how about y'all just move south too ?!)

Last Logan Adventures

May was my last month living in Logan. We got a new roommate Kailee to move in with us, and I am sad I only got one month with her! We had so much fun crafting, staying up late, singing country music  for the month. I love these girls and all our fun times together.

Richmond, UT is right up the road from Logan and heard they were having Black and White days. We ventured up the highway to have our first experience with the horse pulls!  I of course got cotton candy, its a sin not to get it when available :) I loved the horse pulls, I would go back for sure!

Seth has been wanting some overalls for a little while, I got some at work for him to try and I couldnt get him to take them off! He is in love with the bib overalls. Maybe I should find a pair that actually fits him :) He is still sexiest man I know even in the overalls! :)

Leaving logan, Laura and I tired to get in all the Utah State experiences one must have while attending school there. Which naturally meant aggie ice cream. I ate there more in the last month then  I have the past year and half I lived there :) Turns out its pretty good !

Couldn't help but post this, but this is what life is like living with this crowd. Laura saw someone throwing away a cool rug or something so of course that means we gotta go get it! The best part about us dumpster diving and 11 pm was we weren't the only ones! Our neighbors were in the one across the street looking for something they had thrown away. A little neighbor bonding time while rummaging through the dumpsters :)

Spring has Sprung

Happy spring break to me! I was lucky enough to have a few days of in March to go home to what I thought was sunshine. I woke up in Cedar to this crap on my car. Snow just loves me so much it followed me all the way from logan to cedar city! yikes, how do I disappoint him, its not going to work out!

But to brighten my spirits was this handsome lad. All the time in the world would not be enough time!

Also, I got me a new pair of kicks! I love them soo much I just might wear them to a wedding one day :)

This was just some of the fun I had while home, got to ride horses with my Papa and watch Linc rope his first cow! Seth was super nice and made the boys their very own roping dummy! Lincoln could not have been happier if it were christmas morning! Seth and Linc were outside until dark roping!

Soaking up sunshine that I found in St. George!!!! Got dreamsicles for the kids (so naturally for me). I am not used to sunshine or warmth I had to take a break inside to stop sweating. haha TMI

We celebrated a few March Birthdays at our house. Laura and Ashley's! This college is at Ashley's celebration party!

And this is Laura's day, which also happens to be saint pattys day!

And this....this is what happens when Laura and I make a bet to buy the loser dinner at olive garden if we miss ONE class in a week. Thats right, we have a hard time making all of our classes during the week, so we made a bet to motivate us. I get notes on my car and mirror "mmm this olive garden gonna taste even better when its free" and " sammi, this. was. dumb. 7am Laura" HAHAHA and I couldn't even get up in time to get ready, I wore a hat 5 days straight.
And thats the start of my spring if you can call it that here in logan we have seen 57 degrees ONCE! Its killing me not to have sunshine and warmth but I keep prayin it will come!
