Bucket List

My long drives alone I always believed were good for me. They are like therapy for my soul. I can sing out loud to my favorite songs, and replay them as many times as I like. I can wonder about my past, dream about my future and debate my present. Even call long lost friends and get caught up with gossip :) This last weekend was my first time home since I moved to logan. (okay, its only been like three weeks) But, it feels like FOREVER! Who would have thought I would be missing home, missing my nine o'clock bed time, my 8-5 schedule, my chores and my migraines. (Which I have not had since moving to logan woot woot) But anywho, on this drive my thoughts lead me to a bucket list, a few things I would like to do before I die... Not really anything particular like getting married or having a family but just little (haha) things I thought of on my drive.

In no order of importance:

-Attend a Sugar Land concert
-Drive heavy machinery (ie a baler, a combine, a back hoe)
-Get from SLC to STG without touching I-15
-Go on the Church History tour
-Attend a Worship Service of another religion
-Visit the top ten most visited sights in the United States (http://travel.yahoo.com/p-interests-25465855)
-Get my hunters safety and concealed weapons permits
-House a foster child (okay, thats a little more intense then the rest, but I would still like to do it)
- Ride an Elephant
-Volunteer in an other country (like teach english)
-Ride in a hot air ballon
-Go to all 50 states!

I am sure there are many many more things I would like to do before I die, but this is a good start and will take some time getting them accomplished. Wish me luck, and a long life!

Logan the 84341

Well, here I am all bundled up writing about my almost first week here in Logan. Still not 100% convinced this is where I need to be. But I guess while I am here I can try to make the best of it, right? Papa and mom hauled all my crap up here and helped me move into the apartment full of girls I have never met before... (bad idea). We walk in to find the girl who has known I have been coming for like a month was still not moved out of the room. We offered to help her, but she wasnt to eager. All we could do was just pile all my stuff in the corner. The apartments are nice but this one was a little more "trashy" then the rest. Who knew girls could be so DIRTY. Jan was ready to hand me money to go rent a carpet shampooer because the floors were so gross. I deep cleaned everything before I felt I could put anything away. Thank the good Lord I am only in here till the end of April. Hope I make it...(seriously) The day I was moving in it SNOWED! Can you believe it, I swear I am cursed! Good thing I didnt work till 11 the next morning so it had a chance to melt off the roads. A good thing about Logan is COUNTRY DANCING.(Its legit) Not only once but TWO times a week! Booyah- I am bound to get good. This week I new a kid coming up from Ogden to go so I met him at his friends house and went with their group. We had a great time shakin it till late. The next night I get a text from one of the girls we went dancing with inviting me to a bon fire. I HAVE FRIENDS! We drove way out west of town and had hobo dinners and firework wars. Met some new peeps and tried to stay warm next to the fire. I was totally in my element with this new crowd and it made me feel like I didnt make a total mistake for coming here. But work on the other hand was great the first day. The staff here at Hyde Park are awesome. I got along with everyone, everyone was nice, my boss doesnt micro manage, and they dont make me deal with the baby chicks :) Downfall, I work saturdays..... boo! But guess I wont be going to STG as often as I did when I was in Cedar so I can deal for a while.(maybe) I havent really finished unpacking, and thankfully my roomy does not have as many clothes as I have or we could be in some deep trouble. Its like my room, with her bed in it. (haha) She has nothing and I have way to much of everything. Welp, there you have it... I have lost friends, whether or not I am willing to admit it or not from moving away. (the saddest thing ever, truly my heart is breaking) Its already been harder than I thought to keep track of people, but the ones who wanna be apart of your life will make and effort.(or so I keep telling myself). But I guess I cant dwell on that, and hopefully I can make some new friends that dont wanna forget me and hopefully help me adjust to the colder climate.

"the move...."

So if you asked me right now, this day, I would say I do not like Logan. So that is why I will post about it tomorrow :) When I dont feel abandoned, alone, disappointed, annoyed and cold with this darn snow on the roads!

DINSEY LAND!

Disney was like the happiest place on earth :) We had a wonderful vacation and of course I just picked a "few" of photos to post. We started our journey sunday afternoon and drove to Primm were Cassidy and I lost some money playing wheel of fortune slots. Bonus: I didnt get ID, woot woot!

Here is Colt and I playing "double-double." I taught them this little hand game to help pass some of the time in line. We all had fun with it, but grandpa was the only one still wanting to do it even after we got back home!

SPLASH MOUNTAIN!!! Here are the boys ready as ever to not get wet! We rode it three times during our time there, one of my favorites for sure!

So glad the boys were with us so I could stand in line with them to get photos with the characters! Never to old at disney land right?!

Here is one of our splash mountain photos, they were all equally as brilliant :)

Mickey Mouse Ice Cream @ California Adventure

We had breakfast in the park with minnie and friends one of the mornings. It was SO cool to have a lot of characters there coming to your table while you are eating. Well, you were suppose to eat but we were all so excited it took us a while to actually sit down and eat :)

Lincoln and I were buddies the whole trip. I love this little stinker, we definitely had a great time together at Disney.

Minnie Mouse- and get this, I didnt even have to wait in line to see her, she came to us. BONUS!

Leap day @ Disney: they handed out "one more disney day" pins when you walked into the park. This was the day they were opened all night we opted out and were glad we did when we heard they reached capacity and were turning people away. Some people waited in line till like two in the morning waiting to get in still! People are insane I think I am safe to say.

There was a Star Wars show and they train some Jedi's. Trey was lucky to be picked to go up on stage and fight Darth Vader!

Lincoln was FEARLESS! He almost every ride had his hands up. This is Pirates of the Caribbean and his hands were up the WHOLE ride even though its not to intense. haha.

KJ and I after our first ride of splash mtn. Our pants were pretty wet if you cant tell by the photo.

First splash mountain ride, sorry papa didnt mean to block your face, just tryin to be fearless like Lincoln was!

Lincoln ready to rock and roll splash mountain for the third time!

Two new additions we did on this disney trip were the World of Color @ California Adventure and Fantasmic @ Disney Land. Both were AMAZING. I would highly recommend them both. We were lucky enough to get good spots for both shows. Just had to show up a few hours early and hang around till it started :)

Cant believe its been like eight years since we have been there last! Jan is hoping its not another eight before we go again either.
