Curly Hair

I now have curly hair. Its a great new change for me. I haven't had a perm sense like 6th grade. (9 years ago) Holly did it this morning, it was a long process with my long hair. It took 4 hours.  I quite like it and it makes it easy to do an go fast. I had to purchase a defuser for my blow dryer, but I guess its about time I invested in one anyways. :) Thanks Holly I am so excited to play with it over the next few weeks!

The New Thing...???

I was googling some craft ideas I could maybe do as some gifts, I came across this website  craftbits.com and this just seams odd to me, but I guess recycling EVERYTHING is a really big thing...  This purse is made out of a BRA! that is something I would never of thought to do thats for sure......

 

IFA Latest

At IFA we have these neat little milk house candles which I believe are very over priced. I suppose lots of other people do too because we have sold a total of like 5 in the past 4 months. We have these ones in little shot glass size that we sorta a free-bee, so we have started burning those to start to get rid of some. We place them on a little edge that happens to be by the paper towels. ( you can see where this is going...) we have joked for the past 2 months that one day when we pull those paper towels off the rack they will catch fire. Well, that just happened on monday. The thing is no one touched the paper towels and me and my boss had a line of customers and I look up and WHAM there is this huge flame. It took me all about 3 seconds to realize that it was the paper towels on  FIRE!!! The whole roll in flames. I said a little panicky with my arms out like I was protecting someone from behind me " oh my goodness! The paper towels are on fire!!" That instant my boss bryce who was closer then me said "OH" and rushed to put them out. Once they were out and our store smelled burned I started laughing! I was giggling all day long every time I would see a paper towel or candle I would just start up again. OH and of course I took the opportunity to tell everyone at work what happened. I just couldnt get over our little expressions, the way we acted when we saw the flames. Thankfully, no one was hurt and out store didnt burn down. But you can be certain that we have moved the candles into a better burning spot! :)

Piercing Time

So for Moms birthday I told her I would take her to get her ears pierced. She was hesitant but said she has been thinking about it. So thats all I needed to hear, I took her the day after her birthday to the mall and next thing she knew she had pierced ears!

( all finished, she got to hold the teddy bear, surprised they didn't offer her a sucker for being so good!) 

Then the next day, I wanted to get my tragus pierced ( the little do-dad that sticks out above your ear lob). So a girl and I went from work. I have to admit it hurt a little, but nothing I couldn't handle :) No tears were shed, at least not this time. ha 

Thats my ear.  A little bloody, apparently I am a bleeder. 

All done, we are all happy with the out comes! ha 

The New YEar

New years eve in STG is overrated. Indeed I had a good time with what I had to work with (lame 1st night, h.s. weed parties). I met up with some friends at 1st night on main street. Not only was there not a main stage, there was no countdown clock. There wernt many booths or many things to participate in besides DDR but only two can play and there were hundreds in line. We made the rounds up and down from Tabernacle to 100 South. Then ended up residing at a barrel fire. Then after the three or four countdowns to new years we headed out. Went to a friends house and there wasnt much to do, so I was home and in bed by 1:00 am.  Next year I am so in Vegas or ever SLC.  I sure had fun playing games with family before I left to go into town. Even if it ended up in disagreement! I need to go  and buy the new Phase 10 Twist!  So far the new year has been a good one. No complaints yet from this girl. Still trying to think of any new years resolutions that I could keep, and should be keeping!
