Welcome to my new life in Logan. I moved a couple weeks ago out of the old "casino" smelling apartment that looked like a bunch of trashy hookers lived there with all the underwear scattered, beer bottles pouring over the trash can and the hooka bong sitting as the center piece on our table. I moved two buildings up :) (haha, seriously) I now have 3 AWESOME roommates. I have my own room that I have filled with shoes and clothes and found a space for a little twin bed. I have added a few first to my list #1 being purchasing cinderblocks, yes cinderblocks. Ya, know those grey color cement blocks all college kids have holding up a shelf or bed or stashed in a closet somewhere. Well now, my bed is now propped up 8 inches off the ground :) #2 I just purchased my first bedding set (khols.com)! (thanks Jan!!!) My room will be coming together nicely in a few days. #3 My first time calling home like 10 times in one day (I am turning into KJ, she used to call home a lot! :)) I feel the need to have my mothers opinion on everything, like how to buy a table cloth, where can I find paint for my dresser, whats the opposite of buyers remorse, where is my cook book!?.... ya know all the life and death situations a college kid can get into! (Thanks Jan!)
Mothers day: I surprised Jan Sunday for a few hours. I went down for a weekend in Cedar with Seth and with it being mothers day and all went down for sunday dinner with the family. It was a great weekend in the sun with people I love. For some reason I always have too much fun and don't wanna come home (logan is home now...), so I stayed Monday night and woke up and drove back to Logan Tuesday morning to work at noon! yikes, I am crazy, but it was SO worth it.
Other notes:
I have not taken any photos in the past month.... I am STILL working on that
I still love my job (most days:))
Logan is growing on me now that they have temperatures above 70 degrees!
I love that the past two months I said I was only going to come home (STG) once a month and made it twice :)
I am sort of looking forward to school starting, I am sick of the anticipation of how its all going to work out and everything, just wanna get it done already
